In 1892, we invented the adjustable wrench, one of the most essential hand tools ever created. Since then we have registered more than 400 patents and are continuously investing in state-of-the-art technology to assure the highest level of quality and reliability.

1850
Öberg, the first file factory, is founded in Eskilstuna, Sweden.
1856
Lindström is founded in Eskilstuna. The first choice for industries with precise needs.
1886
Bahco’s first production of saw blades made of high-quality steel.
1892
Invention of the adjustable wrench.
1930
Irimo is established in Spain.
1968
Distributor agreement with Secateurs Pradines is signed.
1969
Sandflex® bi-metal hacksaw blade: a new era.
1982
Bahco presents ERGO™: by professionals for professionals.
1997-1999
Snap-on acquires Eurotools (1997) and Bahco (1999).
2005
Eurotools and Bahco merge to create SNA Europe.
2013
Innovation award: Tool management system configurator.
2017
The Storage Hub with European standards is developed.
2021
Acquisition of Secateurs Pradines.
