Carbide-tipped cutting range

In 1862, the Swede Göran Fredrik Göransson founded the companies Högbo Stål and Jernwerks AB to produce high-quality steel. These companies formed the basis of Bahco and made us a leading global manufacturer of high-quality cutting tools.
By launching the first-ever bi-metal hand hacksaw blade in 1969, we started a new era in high-performance cutting tools. Customers began to recognise us for our sublime quality, and we became an inspiration for others. In addition to the bi-metal cutting solution, we are also known for the application of carbide-tipped teeth.
High performance backing steel and optimised carbide grades give a premium cutting performance. These products will cut faster and last longer than any other hole saw in a huge variety of sawing applications. The blades are designed and produced for high efficiency when cutting abrasive materials, stainless steel and a wide range of hard-to-cut materials.
Why carbide?
- EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE IN ABRASIVE MATERIALS. Carbide gives the best result when cutting highly abrasive materials
- RESISTANT AGAINST EXTREME HEAT. Carbide is extremely heat resistant, which allows high cutting speeds
- INCREASES PRODUCTIVITY. Carbide can increase your productivity, thanks to being able to run at higher RPMs
- EXTREMELY HARD. Carbide is much harder than high-speed steel, which makes it excellent for use on hard-to-cut materialLONG PRODUCT LIFE. Carbide has a high wear resistance, thereby contributing to a longer product life
