REDEMPTION

    1. General conditions:
    • By registering for this redemption, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which will at the time of your registration, become binding between you and the promoter. Participation in this redemption is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

    • No salesperson, representative or agent is authorised by the Promoter to give any guarantee, warranty or representation in addition to, or contrary to these Terms and Conditions.

    • The redemption is only open to eligible claimants. An “eligible claimant” is a person who:
      1. is either a New Zealand citizen or a resident; aged 18 and above;
      2. submits a registration application for this redemption in accordance with these Terms and Conditions;
      3. registers this redemption for himself or herself exclusively and not on behalf of any other person or group of persons; and
      4. bought a minimum $300 purchase of Bahco products in one transaction from Mitre10/MEGA during the Promotion Period.

    • The promoter reserves the right to substitute the bonus items for a gift of equivalent value, subject to legislation, at its discretion in the event of happenings beyond its control. If the requested size of the Bahco Singlet is unavailable, the promoter will substitute this to the nearest size available.  The bonus item, or its equivalent, is not exchangeable, transferable nor redeemable for cash.

    2. PROMOTER

The redemption is run by Snap-on Tools Australia Pty Ltd - ABN 55 010 793 683, 80 Holbeche Road, Arndell Park NSW 2148 (The Promoter).

    3. REDEMPTION & PROMOTION PERIOD

The redemption purchase period is from the 1st February 2024 to 29th February 2024, 11.59pm NZDT. Only products bought during that time will allow to participate in this redemption programme.

Eligible claimants will then have until 14th March 2024, 11.59pm NZDT to register for the Redemption offer for purchase made during the above promotion time (i.e. 1st February 2024 to 29th February 2024).

    4. REDEMPTION OFFER

Bonus 1 x Bahco Singlet,1 x Snapback Hat, 1 x Reusable Cutlery Set, 1 x Frisbee, 1 x Sunscreen, 1 x Drink Bottle with any purchase of Bahco products to the value of $300 or more in one transaction from Mitre10 / MEGA during the Promotional Period.

To be eligible for the redemption, the product purchased must be Bahco product(s) to the value of $300 or more in one transaction from Mitre10 / MEGA during the promotional period and cannot be purchased or used in conjunction with any other offer.

The promoter reserves the right to substitute the bonus items for items of equivalent value, at its discretion in the event of unavailability within the prize time frame or happenings beyond its control.  If the requested size of the Bahco Singlet is unavailable, the promoter will substitute this to the nearest size available.  The bonus item, or its equivalent, is not exchangeable, transferable nor redeemable for cash.

    5. APPLICABLE PRODUCTS

The redemption offer only applies to Bahco products purchased from Mitre 10 / MEGA in New Zealand.

A valid redemption registration requires providing personal contact information, including full name, contact number, email, delivery address, Store purchased from, Trade profession, Singlet size and providing a copy of proof of purchase (store product receipt). Any redemption registration form/application that fails to provide true and correct information will be deemed invalid and excluded from the redemption.

    6. EXCLUDED PRODUCTS

This redemption does not apply to any non-listed Bahco products during the campaign or products purchased outside of the redemption period.

This redemption does not apply to Bahco products that are purchased from:

  1. Non Mitre 10 / MEGA New Zealand Retailers
  2. Non-Mitre 10 online
    7. HOW TO REDEEM YOUR BONUS OFFER

To be eligible for the redemption offer, a claimant must, during the promotion period:

  1. Claimant must comply with conditions stated in this T&Cs
  2. Claimant must have purchased $300 or more of Bahco Product(s) from Mitre 10 / MEGA New Zealand in 1 transaction during the promotional period
  3. Register your details online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RHYJZYF Fill out the application form.
  4. Upload your receipt as proof of purchase.
  5. Submit your form to proceed.
  6. Claimant application will then be verified by a Bahco staff member

There is no fee charged to register for this redemption other than the cost of accessing the Internet.

    8. DELIVERY

It may take between to 6-8 weeks for delivery of the BONUS Offer product depending availability.

The promoter reserves the right to substitute the bonus items for a gift of equivalent value, subject to legislation, at its discretion in the event of happenings beyond its control.  If the requested size of the Bahco Singlet is unavailable, the promoter will substitute this to the nearest size available.  The bonus item, or its equivalent, is not exchangeable, transferable nor redeemable for cash.

The Promoter is not liable in cases where the redemption offer is misdirected due to incorrect information provided by the participants or in cases where the participants within the timeframe set by the postal service did not receive the redemption offer.

The redemption offer is non-transferrable. The redemption will be awarded to the person named in the redemption registration claim only. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotional Period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter and modify their Redemption Entry as appropriate.

    9. DISCLAIMER AND RIGHTS OF THE PROMOTER

No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost or misdirected claim forms.

A copy of the original receipt as proof of purchase is required.

The Promoter may require entrants to provide further information regarding the circumstances of the product purchases to the Promoter or its agent as part of the entry verification process. Failure to provide this information to the Promoter’s satisfaction may result in an invalid entry at the Promoter’s discretion.

Entries may only be submitted online and in the correct form provided for at the website and will not be accepted by the Promoter in any other form.

Any misrepresentation or fraudulent information supplied by a claimant disqualifies their claim(s) and registration.

The bonus offer cannot be returned and are not, transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and eligible claimants (including an eligible claimant’s identity and place of residence) and to disqualify any eligible claimant who submits a registration that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the registration process. Suitable forms of verification are at the discretion of the Promoter. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion.

The Promoter reserves the right to change, suspend or cancel the redemption offer at any time without notice.

If this redemption is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including as a result of electronic tampering or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any claimant or voter, or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the redemption, as appropriate.

The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who it has reason to believe has breached any of these terms and conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.

The Promoter is not responsible for any technical malfunctions or problems with internet or network congestion, including injury or damage to a participant’s or any other person’s computer related to participation in this Promotion and problems with transmission of entries and / or emails over the internet, acts in violation of these terms and conditions, acts in a disruptive manner, or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

Any taxes which may be payable as a consequence of a Participant receiving a bonus offer are the sole responsibility of the eligible claimant or participant.

The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

    10. PERSONAL INFORMATION

    1. Personal information collected and used in order to conduct the Promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, which is available at https://www.bahco.com/nz_en/privacy-policy and the terms set out below:
      • The Promoter may use personal information for the purpose of conducting the Promotion, including to contact the claimant(s);
      • The Promoter may disclose personal information collected for the Promotion to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, redemption offer suppliers and, as required, to New Zealand regulatory authorities; and
      • The Promoter may, with the entrant’s permission, use personal information for promotional and marketing purposes.

    1. The Promoter’s privacy policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their personal information, how entrants may complain about a breach of the New Zealand Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with.
    11. LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties that are incapable of being excluded (Non-Excludable Guarantees). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.

GOVERNING LAWS

The laws of New Zealand apply to this redemption to the exclusion of any other law. Claimants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Auckland, New Zealand.
