To win the world’s most demanding race, the Alpine Signatech team required the best setup on and off the track.
For a team to succeed in high performance, endurance racing, every component has to be just right. This is no different for the car and the driver as it is for the team in the garage. Whether during the building, maintenance and preparation that occurs in the main workshop in Bourges, or the final inspections and tweaks at a race meeting, mechanics need to be able to act quickly and precisely. That means knowing exactly where the right tools are – having a reliable system is central to this.

DISCOVER THE POWER OF BETMS
A hands-on approach, customised to fit the tasks and pressures that come with being an elite level automotive engineer.
The only way to solve the problems faced by the mechanic team was to accurately identify them through feedback and observation. This started with a workshop visit from Bahco at the beginning of the Alpine Signatech story, and the need for a unique solution was soon clear. We worked with their mechanics to craft a dependable Bespoke Ergo Tool Management System (BETMS), designed to make their equipment as accessible as possible.
Custom foam inlays allow the Alpine team to completely tailor their BETMS.
With their new setup, Alpine Signatech’s mechanics can perform to a championship winning standard.
You can’t win race events on the biggest stage unless the people behind the wheel have the utmost confidence in their car and their team. As winners of the Teams’ and Drivers’ Championships at the 2013 and 2014 European Le Mans Series, it’s clear that the belief, skill and execution are all there.
Due to the build and custom tool trays, their mechanics know that every single tool can be found in exactly the right place, whether their BETMS is in the French headquarters or has been shipped across the world. The compact, mobile setup enables rapid interventions without unnecessary interruptions and ensures urgent work can happen as soon as it is needed.
