This is no different for aviation, and we made 2015 a year to remember by attending the Dubai and Paris Airshows.
At Bahco, we have always gone hand-in-hand with the aviation industry. The highly technical demands of manufacturing aircraft requires unerring precision and our tools are able to provide just that. Ever since the industry first took off, our team have created the solutions, such as our bespoke project with Sabena, that ensure planes can be worked on efficiently and safely.
We love being part of the nuts and bolts of the aviation industry, so we naturally got involved with both the Dubai and Paris Airshows last year.
The Dubai Airshow
A record-breaking exhibition bursting with some of the biggest names in the industry, it was so much fun to be a part of this 4 day extravaganza. The Airshow was held in Dubai at a colossal exhibition centre built specifically for this aviation event and hosted 1,103 exhibitors from over 60 countries around the world.
Everyone was there from commercial and general aviation, the likes of Boeing and Airbus doing all they could to impress buyers and sell their latest models. Other exhibition stands ranged from military aviation and satellite systems to training providers and interior software—there really was something for everyone.
Held between November the 8th and 12th in 2015, 66,346 people queued up to see what the industry and its suppliers had on offer. We didn’t want anyone to miss out on the heat of the turbo engines or the Dubai sun, which is why we invited some of our customers to come and meet us on the stand with the chance to win a bespoke Bacho Ergo Tool Management Solution.
It was great to meet all the different people that work in aviation and see their take on our newest range of tool storage solutions and mechanical hand tools designed for the aviation industry. We met so many people that we needed a sit down in one of the luxury jets when we were done!
The Paris Airshow
Last year we were also invited to be part of the Paris Airshow which was held just outside the city centre and attended by thousands of avid fanatics who had their eyes glued to the sky. More people than ever before arrived at the event to see the Airbus A380, Boeing 787 and the other leading models race through the sky and dance in the clouds.
Nostalgia is still powerful for plane lovers and the eight Alphajets of the Patrouille de France were the standout Airshow of the event. Wowing the crowds with their designs and formations, they showed historical aviation techniques and traditions in full flow.
It’s so exciting for us to be part of Airshows like this and we’re proud to be involved with the absolute best in the industry. We can’t wait to see what the Aviation industry has in store for us in 2016.
